Leader: Ron Cyger
Trip is all day Saturday and until after lunch on Sunday
The Salton Sea is one of the premier birding spots in North America! It offers a chance to see over 100 species in a day and a half of birding, including the following number of species: 27 geese & ducks, 13 hawks, 15 waders, 8 gulls, 6 terns, 11 flycatchers, 10 warblers and 16 sparrows. (No, we won’t see all of these on the weekend!)
We will bird all day Saturday and until after lunch on Sunday before heading home. After signing up for this trip, you will receive information on times, locations, and lodging.
This trip is sign-up only for Los Angeles Birders members and is limited in number. Members will receive a link via email. If you are not a member and wish to go on this trip, signing up for membership is easy: just go to www.labirders.org and click ‘join’.
