Field Trip: Dockweiler Beach

Join us for a walk along the beach to look at birds using the beach and nearshore waters. There is usually an opportunity to study some gulls, shorebirds and sea ducks. Please dress for the weather, and for a walk on a very sandy beach for 2-3 miles. Bring a hat, binoculars, and drinking water. A spotting scope can be helpful if large scoter flocks are present on the ocean. There is a $9 parking fee at Dockweiler Beach. Restrooms are available at the parking lot.
