Birding 202 - Shorebirds

Starts Wed, Aug 28, 2024

Are you ready to bring your birding to the next level? Look no further! Birding 202 is an advanced birding class designed to give experienced birders the structure, knowledge, and tools to bird with confidence when looking at shorebirds along the LA River. This time, classes will be online (but field trip in person), so that participants don’t need to drive through LA traffic on weekday afternoons/evenings.

This course is made up of two online classroom sessions in the evenings of August 28 and 29, 2024 (Wednesday, Thursday), from 7–9pm. A class link will be sent to all participants. There will also be a field trip on August 31 starting at 7am along the LA River. Participants are expected to attend both classes and the field trip.

To sign up, fill out the form below. Registration is $40 and you must be a LAB member. The class size is limited and there is no waiting list.
