Please join us for a fun walk at the largest remaining coastal wetland in Los Angeles! We will look for migrating shorebirds, Black Oystercatchers, Yellow-crowned Night-Herons, and hopefully even the wintering Pacific Golden-Plover! We will bird Del Rey Lagoon, the beach, south jetty, creek, and the saltpan at Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve. The walk is about 1.5 miles on sand, rocks, and dirt terrain, so plan accordingly. Space is limited to 20 participants. See you there!
